I have been a big fan of coconut oil for many years, so I was thrilled when Tropical Traditions sent me a 32 oz. jar of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut oil for a review and giveaway! My very first giveaway I might add! My first experience with coconut oil was 7 years ago. I was working with a young woman from Pakistani descent at the time. I was discussing my frizzy out-of- control hair with her and I asked her how she keeps her hair so shiny and smooth. She advised me to use coconut oil. I had never even heard of it before! Well, it made my hair feel and look so smooth and it defined my natural curls! In fact, coconut oil must be the most versatile of all oils in my opinion because it has HUNDREDS of uses! Here is a list of uses provided by Tropical Traditions : http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/how-to-use-coconut-oil.htm . Now that I have tried Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut oil, I would never buy just any old coconut oil ever again! 3. I know there are a lot of great uses for coconut oil besides cooking. You can make homemade lip balm (I haven't actually done it) use it for diaper rash and for your hair. But that fudge up there looks awesome too. :-)
